Research and design of a city guide for a wedding weekend in downtown Boston aimed to facilitate a fabulous experience for out-of-town guests by calling attention not only to the event venues, but to the nearby coffee shops, public art sculptures, historic sites, and areas for shopping and strolling.The map styling and palette aligned with the elegant, sophisticated aesthetic of the wedding, with a visual focus on the Boston Common and Public Garden that served as the distinguished backdrop for the weekend. The map, printed as part of an accordion book with the weekend itinerary, and a box of L.A. Burdick Chocolates tied up with blue ribbon awaited guests in their hotel rooms.
